Unfortunate and terrible circumstances to anybody who has one or the other. I feel kind of awkward answering this question, since I have neither experienced either one, even for a short duration of time. I chose deaf, considering technology is allowing deaf people to have more chances of hearing, in contrast to blind people being able to see one day.
Sad circumstances for anybody who has them, considering I have neighbor's kids who are semi-deaf.
It seems like an easy choice, but from what I've seen and heard, the vast majority of blind people isn't particularly unhappy with their lives. I have come to believe it's something that the body and mind very easily adjust to, and that other senses compensate for more than people might think.
Unfortunate to be either one, but if given the choice, I would choose to be deaf for sure. Not being able to see the world seems a lot worse to me than not being able to hear.

How is it? It's a simple choice, if you had the choice of being deaf or blind, the best one you could possibly even think of would be deaf. Lets see....I can watch TV when I'm deaf, just need subtitles, I can see people/objects, I can play games, I can drive. When I'm blind I can't do any of those.
I didn't SAY that one wouldn't suck less then the other. That doesn't make accepting either of them easy.
I sort of equate it to a life or death matter, you can save one. Your mother, or your child. The clear answer is your child because their in the prime of life, and have yet to experience all that life has to offer, and your mother has. But it doesnt make it easy. Maybe I'm the only one that sees it like that... o.o

One of them is a MUCH MUCH more preferable choice if you did have to choose. So it is such a simple answer. You may not wan't either of them but if you were forced to have one of them, deaf would be the one that would be the obvious answer.
Id rather be deaf by miles.Being blind has to completly ruin your life.Even though it would suck not to be able to hear music.A better question is,would you rather be color blind of say half deaf.
Blind, I'm not much of a visual person, but I do like listening. I can type with no eyes, although navigating websites would be difficult. But, as long as I could still listen to music and other people talk, I'm cool with it.
