Going off topic here, but this is the kind of scenario where a giantbomb/whiskeymedia version of "like" and/or "+1" buttons/counters for comments makes sense. It would rid the community of a fair amount of the "this" comments.

My favorite game is probably Earthbound. Sucessful or popular does not describe Earthbound. Therefore it doesn't suck.  
 
I'm a bit dissapointed, I was thinking this would be a thread about a person's favorite game and admitting the flaws the game has but why they love it anyway. Way to waste a topic.
