b- I thought GEARS OF WARS 2 looked about as good as a next-gen game could look....and that game is currently- and will probably remain- my game of the year. And hell, I think I actually get to vote on that kind of stuff in some circles :) And unless I get blown away by POP or something else I missed, GEARS 2 is the SHIT....this year. Dudes and dudettes, fucking WAIT till you see the amazing graphics...just fucking wait.

#1- I just said GEARS 2 is the BEST fucking playing and looking game of the year....better than any PS3 game. And there are some damn good PS3 games, I feel.

#2- FUCK YOU! I ain't no fan boy but this mother fucking game looks like nothing you've ever played...and you can hold me to that when this thing hits and when they start showing gameplay footage. It looks like a painting come to life- it's THAT good looking.

Well, given that GoW has failed to disappoint on console or handheld, I don't see why this game wouldn't end up being, as Jaffe might put it, in-fucking-credible!

He's pretty nuts. I'm glad to see he's back on board with God of War III.

He's working on other projects. He now has his own studio Eat Sleep Play (I think that's the name?) But I'm sure he is overseeing the GOW III.

No matter how good it looks, it will still be very, very overrated. 

God of war set the bar for best looking games on the ps2, which was the weakest graphically system of last gen, this gen the ps3 is the strongest graphically so it makes sense that God of war III is the best looking game this generation, and god of war IV or whatever ends up being the only one surpassing God of War III.

Damn, now I'm excited.

Well, the previous ones were the best damn visuals created on the PS2. I'm expecting something similar with GoW3 and the PS3. So excited!!

The 360 is stronger graphically where it's easier to code so you can get more out of the console and if you'd want to do so on the PS£ it would take an extra year that developers don't ahve and thts why we see bad ports to the PS3 all the time. Also the GPU inside the 360 is more powerful than whats in the PS3 and we're seeing things like better AA on the 360 because of this. The ram also the 360 has the advantage because the GPU can in theory have access to all 512mb ram and the OS uses less ram leaving more than just the 256mb ram that the PS3 GPU has access to and the OS uses up more ram too. The only advantage the PS3 has is disc space where theyc an fit uncompressed textures to the PS3. What I'm wondering is if now you can instlal games to your 360... will they uncompress to your harddrive to take away the PS3's edge.

Sony lied about the power of their console to developers again and they made just such a big mistake launching 1 year later with effectively less ram.

Considering the God of War series has always been a graphical watermark for whatever platform it releases on, I have no doubt the PS3 version could potentially be mindblowing.
