visually it looks rough, but i dunno, could be fun. why doesn't everyone just wait to see if actually plays well before condemning it? yes, shooters on the wii have all sucked but who knows, maybe they figured out how to do it.
 
and also, who really taped cardboard to the screen? if someone screen looked you just slapped the controller out of their hands.

i played alot of goldeneye back in the day.....not sure why people still like it so much.....

I'm not sure why everybody is so pumped about this. If it handles the same then why not just play the original? That still seems like a viable option. I mean it's pretty outdated, though I guess I just don't understand where the excitement is coming from.

Honestly I'd much rather have a port of the original to xbla or something than a wii remake. But really I'd prefer neither.

I loved Goldeneye....played the crap out of it.     However, I don't think I really care about any sort of port/remake of it.  Same way I had no real desire to buy/play the XBLA port of Perfect Dark.

While I remember fondly playing this, I recently booted it back up- it's old people. I mean SCARY old, and feel antiquated. Yet somehow, I have hope for this...what does this make me? A sadist?

I cringed the moment I saw 'SPLITSCREEN MULTIPLAYER' warranted a mention in the trailer.

...Zelda, DK, and Goldeneye? I am for the first time in a long while glad to have a WII. This looks awesome. I have so many amazing memories from when I was a kid playing this with my brothers, sectioning the screen off and sitting on top of a chest of draws so we couldn't see each others screens! Oh man, I can't wait.

Oh I played this... about 10 years ago, I lOVE pointless remakes.

I think they forget that it was a game of it's time - one which didn't really have competition of the same nature. It will never live up to the original.
