I know I'm not the only one that thinks this will be a giant turd.   Anyone that enjoys Goldeneye 64 enough to want a remake probably still has their N64 and Goldeneye.  My recommendation is that you stay far away from this, and break out the original instead.  I know that's what I'm gonna do instead of purchasing this abomination.

Could not be less interested. Those games should just die at this point. Seriously, I can't not explain my disdain for this.

I would have been happier with a PSN/XBL Perfect Dark style port, as opposed to this, but I guess this was the only way it could legally happen.  Cautiously pessimistic.

I think developers who weren't involved with the original game should just leave GoldenEye alone, so that they can avoid tainting its legacy. I mean, I still remember Rogue Agent... and this seems like yet another giant cash-grab from Activision. And I'm not big on the idea of replacing Pierce Brosnan with Daniel Craig.

I don't have very high hopes for this, especially thinking back to EA's attempt to make a Goldeneye game. I would prefer to just remember the original how it was back in the day.

Those all seem like actors and I don't agree with them but they should port this to other consoles with better resolutions.

Wow! Nintendo must have spent some serious cash for all these rights.  Still not buying a Wii though.

I really don't know what to say about this.  Goldeneye was a great game for its time because it showed that an FPS could be made on consoles; remaking the game can only serve to remind us of that, and if this remake gets fucked up, it will only piss off the mounds of people who eagerly want this. 

Now, I may be nitpicking with this, but replacing Brosnan with Craig, really?  Maybe it gets around some copyright stuff or whatnot, but...come on, really?!

Oh man, I can't wait for this! I loved Goldeneye as a a kid..... but having Daniel Craig be James Bond instead of Pierce Brosnan is pretty crap

Hmm.. not really sure what to think. As people of said part of its legacy was being one of the first shooters on a console done well. They could still pull off an amazing game but it will take ALOT more to best and adapt to some of the titles and conventions of today.

Ughh, would have preferred pc, ps3, or 360.

uhmmm is it gonna play like old school golden eye? cause if so it be terrible. That game is freaking more than a 10 yrs old! shooters have evolved so much. If it is gonna be new it should'nt be on the wii, that thing is barely more powerful than the original xbox..... i'm sorry but its one thing to make galaxies... other thing to make a modern fps. Then it comes down to motion controls..... the mouse will always be superior to any motion controls, and we all know the xbox/dualshock controller are also pretty good these days... no need for motion controls at all. Does anyone here feel like they have a lack of precision playing MW2 or halo or killzone on the console!? and again any PC gamers know the mouse and keyboard IS THE ULTIMATE WAY PLAYING FPS.

There was already a new Goldeneye game. And it was crap.

I wonder what kind of story this will have, obviously dainel criag is the main guy how can 2 guys go through the same thing at the same damn base...that my friend is a paradox.

Awhile ago, my Xbox was broken and all my friends' were broken too. We decided to go back to the classic Golden Eye for our weekly deathmatch fix. And it sucked. It really sucked. Has anyone actually played it in the past 12 years?

This doesn't sound like a great idea. I can only hope that they make the "Protect Natalya" part as big of a pain in the ass as it was on the N64. If they can nail that, the rest of the this game can slide.

IDK if anyone has heard of this, but there's a free Mod for the source engine in Beta called Goldeneye:Source, currently it only has multiplayer, but it's still freaking sweet. You can find it on Moddb

I don't know, there could be some nostalgic fun to be had. The first part of that trailer was pretty horrific, though.
