Let me just say that the one time i actually hit the pit line in this game on tsuba EVER... and i mean Ever.. not even in older versions of gt or even during the random races needed have i ever hit the pit line.. I dont even know wtf i was doing going on the inside before that corner.. I never do that.. If i would have just stayed behind and tried to cut around u at the next corner like we did a few times then i could have got first or at least a good second.. :( Would have been awesome if polyphony put in a option to either turn pit off or at least not make you sit waiting for 15seconds as your car goes 20mph to the pit and then wait another 10 just to get control of your car... :( either way good race.. till i messed up.. never again will it happen.. least not on that track..

I believe both Frank and Static are unavailable for the next two weeks so we'll have a bit of a summer break. Last two or three racenights the attendance has been meager. This could be because of holidays or maybe even GT5 fatigue. So a break might actually be beneficial.  
 
In the meantime, we could throw around some ideas on what sort of events everyone would like to see in the future. This could be the type of cars used, or maybe you've always wanted to do a crazy 4 hour team based endurance run (2vv2v2v2, 4v4 etc). Some special event like F1, or an all-star mash-up consisting of 5 or 6 very different cars/courses (rally, kart, Elise) to determine who's the most versatile over the course of the evening.  
How about a '70s key bowl party (let me finish...): We all get to pick a muscle car, attach a number to it, roll the dice and you have to drive the car of one of the opposing drivers.  
 
Let's keep the board alive! If you're a regular, try to tell in advance if you're not able to attend. It's kind of shitty to leave people hanging in the lobby for an hour. If you're new to GT5, send a PM to Frankcanada97 and join in on the friendly fun. I know GT5 can be a bit of a letdown with it's singleplayer content and endless lists of random lobby's, but when it's organized it's fun as hell. Key bowl party fun! Well, pretty damn fun anyways...

Really sorry I've been missing out on these races. It was my sister's birthday last week and now it's my mother's today. Not to mention that my sister now babysits a kid that comes over ever Saturday (occupying the living room) AND the fact that race night is on about the same time as my dinner time. For now, just assume I won't be there unless I pop in. 

Some new race types or one longer race would be cool. Been busy these past weeks at "race time", but come end of summer I will be able to attend much more frequently.

I booted up GT5 yesterday with my brother. Definitely still love playing it, but Saturday night is a bit awkward for me. I'd rather play early Saturday or Sunday morning (GMT) or something like that. I don't mind getting up early to do so, but it would absolutely need to be a time slot everyone agreed with. Like I said, Saturday nights are awkward for me, but not impossible, so there's no dire need to change the time or anything for me at least. 
 
Maybe it's good that we're having a nice break from it. Come the holidays it might be easier to kick start it again.

Ok, I have no idea how the fuck daylight savings works apparently since in my part of the world, it only meant pushing my clock forward or backward an hour when the seasons change. I didn't know it actually shifted the time for some people. Either way, shit in my life did get settled out, although I did have to sell my camera. Other than that, come Spec 2 of GT5, I certainly hope it brings back enough people to make it a regular thing again.

Haha, so sorry I've been gone for over a month. Had to replace the drywall before getting the rewiring job done. I guess with Spec 2.0 out, things will pickup again. Also, let's restart with a night of super crazy high speed hijinks in the Red Bull X1.
