One of the main characters in Grandia III. The last of the Communicators, who are mediums capable of interpreting the words of Glyph the Guardian. She is looking for her lost brother.

A seasoned knight in gold armor who challenged Justin to a battle when they first met, and being thoroughly convinced he is a true hero, joins him on his journey. He is a strong and capable fighter who is handy with a sword, and even imparts some of his wisdom to his new friend.
General Baal is the father of Colonel Mullen and the ultimate bad guy in the first Grandia game. General Baal's goal in life is to reach perfection via evolution by any means necessary.
Traveling salesman and history buff, Guido is actually the young chieftain of a small, rabbit-like race called the Mogays. As both a crafty fighter and shrewd business man, he tries to guide Justin's group along with their best interests in mind. Prefers to fight with a bow, dagger or sword.
The mayor of Terrarium, the only habitable place in the Verse Realm, and a playable character in Grandia III. She is trying to completely sever the links between her world and the world where Yuki and the others live.
Java is an old adventurer Justin encounters early on in his adventures. Thanks to Java Justin is able to board a steamboat and begin his journey in the new continent of Elencia
Justin is the main character in the first Grandia game. He lives in the town of Parm with his best friend Sue and his single mother Lilly. It is in Parm that Justin's adventure begins and he sets off to the new continent of Elencia.
Leen is a young soldier who has gained a special place in the military as Colonel Mullen's aide-de-camp due to her dedication. She is particularly kind for a soldier, and is well liked by her underlings as a result.
A mysterious woman who contacted Justin in the Sult Ruins. She resides in a floating information database that contains knowledge and records of an ancient civilization. Highly skilled in magic, Liete can command a wide assortment of spells for a variety of effects. She, like Gadwin, can wield only one type of weapon, in her case, maces.
Lilly is Justin's mother in the first Grandia game. Despite her attachment to her only son and being a single parent, she accepts Justin's decision to go adventuring and gives him encouragement as well.
Mareg is a beast-man warrior hunting Melfice because he is seeking vengeance for the people killed in his village.
A major villain in Grandia II, Melfice is protagonist Ryudo's formerly loving older brother, who was possessed by the Horn of Valmar and was transformed into a psychopathic murderer.
A towering and feral woman from the village of Laine who, despite her rough nature, has a sweet side, particularly for her husband. Like Justin, she uses swords, maces and axes. Her husband, Darlin, is a part of the three wise men of Laine and a talking bull

Miranda is a playable character in Grandia III. She is Yuki's mother and raised him by herself. A very straightforward and strong woman.
Son of General Baal, leader of the Garlyle Forces, Mullen is a calculating tactician as well as a skilled swordsman. He is liked by most of his subordinates, and is simultaneously the romantic interest of most of his female officers.
Pakon is the president of the adventure society in Grandia. After his father passed away, he used his powers to only allow approved adventures.
A cunning thief with plenty of attitude and no manners from the village of Cafu. In combat he can either fight up close with daggers or swords, or attack from afar with boomerangs and chakrams.
Raven is a non-playable character in Grandia III. A mysterious man with a romantic connection to Dahna.
He is a young runaway that joins Ryudo on his Escort mission. It is later found that he is the prince of Cyrum.
Employed as a Geohound, a mercenary monster hunter . He is hired to escort a girl named Elena to a meeting with Pope Zera.
Justin's best friend as well as cousin and constant tag-along on his adventures. Unlike Justin, she is quite mature and levelheaded for her age but can be just as emotional as any child depending on the situation. She aids in combat not only by casting several magic spells, but also by using ranged weapons like bows or throwing her pet Puffy (originally named Pooey in the Japanese version) like a projectile. She can also use maces.
It is a robot Automata fighter left over the from the war between Granas and Valmar.
Ulf is a demi-human who travels the skies with his dragon Shiba and is a playable character in Grandia III. He lived in the Dragon Valley, but left because of the many rules imposed upon them.
A non-playable character in Grandia III. She is a psychotic woman who is in love with Emelious.
