Ehhh... you can forget about a proper KH3 for the coming... 5 years or so.

The team needs to finish FFvsXIII first, but they're also helping out with FFXIII, so that will take a long time.

Instead, look forward to KH: Birth by Sleep for PSP, which is based on the KH2 secret movie, so it's basically KH3.

I'm waiting for the handhelds Kingdom Hearts first..
KH3 should come out in a long time (look at KH2) on PS3 I'm guessing...

There will probably be a gap filler like Chain of Memories was, prepairing the story for KH3. Also I want KH2 Final Mix + to come out outside of Japan. The extra content is awesome.

I doubt that they WOULDN'T make a third KH game, the first two were really popular

Nomura said a while ago that he wanted to take a break from series but that it wasn't the end. They won't announce anything till  all the handheld games are over and done with

DS - 358/2 Days

There are 3 titles currently scheduled to be released:

Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep -  (PSP) Takes place an undetermined amount of time before the first Kingdom Hearts game.
Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Day - (DS) Which takes place between Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts II while Sora is sleeping.
Kingdom Hearts: Coded - (Mobile, likely Japan only like Before Crisis) Takes place after Kingdom Hearts II..but I'm betting the story won't matter as it is meant to just be a computer simulation or something.

As for Kingdom Hearts III...well there is only rumours so far, so I wouldn't hold my breath. Hopefully it goes to the PS3 and not the Wii though !!

Try to settle for the handheld versions and FFXIII Versus which is based on KH fighting system.

Well they're making the 2 other spin-offs for the PSP and DS, and Tetsuya Nomura is a little busy right now with Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII, so I'd say it's a while off.
