I'm down to help with the gb logo for sure. i like the water idea, it would be cool to see a 3D one also (like the pac man).

Great job uncovering the northern expanse tonight. Some neat things were found. I think next time I log in I will try to find my way back to spawn without the use of a compass or teleporting. Bear Grylls Challenge= BEGIN!  
 
If only critters and night terrors were turned on, then it would really be a challenge, hah!

Wow, the new map is looking ace.  Need to explore outside of the main island a bit!  Any recommendations/new builds going on?

I think i'm finished with the main structure of my castle now.  Just adding details like chandeliers, tables, item storage, maybe some catapaults and towers on the top.

Here's a couple updates. Finished the outside of this castle here. Also, here's the humble beginnings of a 3D attempt at the GB bomb. All the hard work of the hole and sphere are FunExplosions magical doings. The dirt will be turned into obsidian once everything's done.

 Just a bit of documentation of the first (failed) attempt at building a Giant Bomb. Originally, we were going to try and map the logo onto a 3D ball, but it proved to be quite difficult, if not impossible. So, instead we opted to cover our ball of dirt and the crater that holds it in favor of a HUUUUGGGGE 2D Giant Bomb logo. I'm sure we'll have progress shots of that once it is finished, I just wanted to get these shots up before those are posted, so we have some chronology.

YoctoYotta finished the Giant Bomb logo. Check out the latest isometric map.

THIS IS A TEST. THIS IS ONLY A TEST.   I have just started trying out some different builds and ideas on my home server. I am curious how much of a load this pc can bear, so I want to see if anyone can connect, ( 70.234.170.134:25565 ). Gonna op anyone that i have played with on FunExplosions server. This will not be up when the Bombcraft server is running, because thats where i will be. In all actuality, unless we have some kind of theme or unique experiment going on there. I may only use it to gain experience building things. I dont even know if we'll get it running. God help me. lol.

Can't connect. Additionally, I'd advise against exploring -too much- of the world. Eventually the cartographer crashes when the map reaches a certain size.

i dunno,  i have a much larger map than the one we've currently explored and haven't had an issue with cartograph crashing,  also there are other apps to create server images with that seem to be supported a little bit better than cartograph.  In the end I don't think that exploring will be too big of a problem, but it would be a good idea to only go as far away as you need to to have the room for what you're wanting to build.   Just traveling an insane amount in one direction doesn't really accomplish much on it's own.
