People are bitching about 90 bucks, but I would like to see them put on a huge event catering for god knows how many people, keep it fun, pay everyone to staff it and organise it, pay for all the equipment and gear rental, pay for all the advertising, the security expenses and who knows what elese that comes with putting on a huge convention of any kind. 90 dollars seems very reasonable.  Im sure you have paid around that much to see your favourite band with a bunch of fellow fans, why not to go to a convention based around your favourite game?

I'd attend a MineCraftCon just to see how it would work. I wouldn't travel to Vegas for it though, fuck that.

IMO, Notch needs to implement way more features and craftable items before he can legitimately release the game as a final product.

not with skyrim coming out on that day. you know probably activision is gonna drop the next cod then too since the last two years were 11/10 and 11/09. makes sense that two of the biggest names of the year would drop on the same day. thats how you truly celebrate.

Nope unless there was lots of free booze, room, airfare. Then I might go or just stay in the Vegas hotel with my laptop building levels with Unreal Tournament 3 editor instead of minecraft.

I have several reasons to visit Vegas, and I don't think this would be any of them.
