Hey guys, I'm looking for a good, long RPG for the DS, does anyone have any suggestions?  I loved Tactics A2 and Chrono Trigger.  I was thinking maybe Fire Emblem but I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions.

Any of the Final Fantasy DS games, or any of the Pokemon games, like the one Jayge mentioned. Aside from like the Ranger ones and the spin-offs that don't focus on what Pokemon is about. They fucking piss me off.

I'd have to recommend the Final Fantasy IV remake.

I'd personally recommend Dragon Quest IV and V if you want a traditional RPG and Revenant Wings if you want a strategy RPG.

Go with one of the new ones coming out like Avalon Code, Suikoden Tierkreis, or Valkyrie Profile. Valkyrie proflile in particular, as it is said to be a great strategy RPG. If you don't want those, The World Ends with You is the best RPG on the DS.

Bog has got it. Theres also going to be a new Shining Force, and look out for knights in the knightmare. My most looked forward to RPG has to be Sands of Destruction. Dragon Quest IX and Shin Megami Tensei look pretty great too. In other words, if you are looking for RPGs on the DS, its pretty much the same as looking for cosplayers at an anime convention. There are a ton of them, and most of them are good (though there are a few craptaculars)

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone!  There are some good ones in there, I'm thinking Dragon Quest IV or V, The World Ends With You or Valkyrie Profile so far.

Just a little update. I ended up getting Dragon Quest V.  I've played it for several hours now and I'm loving it. Thanks for the suggestions.

Pokemon, Final Fantasy and The World Ends With You are all sweet RPGs for the console.

The World Ends With You, FFIV remake, Pokemon Platinum/Diamond/Pearl/Random Element, or Dragon Quest V.

The new SMT game looks enticing as well.
