Overview
Payday 3 (stylized as PAYDAY 3) is a co-operative crime-themed first-person shooter developed by Starbreeze and published by Deep Silver for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on September 21, 2023.
A sequel to the long-running Payday 2.
The game's story takes place sometime after the Payday Gang's retirement and the death of their original handler Bain. After attempted assassinations on them, as well as a seizure of their assets, five members of the original crew begin a new crime spree in New York City to find the conspirator attempting to take them down. Aiding them is their new handler Shade, as well as new and familiar faces giving them missions.

Heists
Unlike the non-linear CRIMENET system in Payday 2, the heists in Payday 3 follow a linear story. In addition, each heist can be played in stealth.

- Dirty Ice - A diamond store robbery.
- Rock the Cradle - A cryptocurrency robbery set in a high-end nightclub.

- Gold & Sharke - A more-elaborate bank robbery.
- 99 Boxes - An electronic equipment robbery in a warehouse.
- Touch the Sky - A penthouse robbery.
