The news comes from the latest issue of Famitsu in Japan, courtesy of Sinobi and translated by Andriasang.

In development at Arc System Works, the developers of BlazBlue, the game features characters from both Persona 3 and Persona 4 but chronologically takes place after the events of Persona 4.

It's coming out in arcades first next spring, followed by a release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 that summer.

Atlus is also releasing a revamped version of Persona 4 for PS Vita called Persona 4 The Golden, sporting some new upgrades and tweaks, such as a new character named Mary and more voice acting.

There's also a little thing called Persona 5, which is coming...eventually. But it is coming.

God danmit! I didn´t want a Vita ... anyways  the fighting game is been made by Arc System so I don´t know what to thing about that , the Persona 4  port on the other hand CAN´T WAIT! (but I still don´t want a Vita)

What made me excited in this article was the Persona 5 bit.

Persona 4 Vita was what I guessed when they threw up that teaser site last week, the Persona 5 news is obvious but its nice to have confirmation, never in a million years would have guessed a Persona 4 fighting game but I am intrigued. Since it is set after Persona 4 I wonder if they are going to attempt to tell an actual story or is it just going to be nonsense fighting game style endings?

Hopefully they will do something creative with the persona system, like the persona cards and fusing system somehow making a relevant game element.
