I always worry when a dark horse hit game announces a sequel. Portal had something very special that we all noticed, from the strange comments by GLaDOS to the all too deceiving cake. With the little news we've gotten from the hushed group over at Valve, what do you think we should expect? A prequel? The rumored Cave Johnson as the antagonist?

I don't know what to get out of the "sequel" stuff, but I can guarantee that there definitely will be Portals.

I'd hope to see a continuation of the first game's story and see what happens to Chell. As we all know at the end of the first game she ended up in a car park for the facility. I'd love to see how they adapt the portal mechanic into gameplay on a more open setting like a city or town.

I hope they announce portal alongside HL 2 EP 3....I want to see what happens SOOOOO Badly...

A new Portal gun that makes four portals for some crazy puzzle solving.

I'd like them to maybe go  bit bizzarre and have a seperate charcter line whereyou open a portal but it taked you to another world and all kinds of crazy shit starts happenig and - oh fuck, thats half life 

We should be expecting more portals.  And hopefully not another internet(which I've heard several times in real life actually) meme like "the cake is a lie."

I would expect Portals.

More story really.  I actually think the route they could go is that the chick goes off with the portal gun and tries to figure out more about whats going on.  Maybe they tie it into Half Life Episode 3 with the search for the Borealis.  the game would probably be more like the last part where you escape the facility and roam the offices and broken down places, so a ship adrift would be good.

An actual campaign/story rather than the 'challenge room' type thing the first game took. Not that I'm criticizing the first game or anything, it worked, but for a second full-fledged game I wouldn't want them to do the same thing (at least not for the entire game)

I thought they were focused on EP3 of Half-Life. "

We should expect a Episode 3 Teaser at the end of the game...right?
