Leave.

It took me a second to get the joke, need to brush up on my Video Game King fiction.

OT: So does this game have a reason to actually get to the moon?

The reason is up to you. It is such a challenge to get their, the fact is just a wasteland means nothing.

Much like in real life. You then create your own objectives. Such as he has a Kerbal stranded on the moon. He needs to retrieve him.

I suggest this mod. If you don't want to kick a Kerbal out of your command pod and leave him on Kerbin to up the one the Mun.

http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/showthread.php/15016-0-16-Crew-able-empty-pods-0-3

You can build yourself a rover and then a rocket to take that rover to the Mun.

A mod for Curiosity as your rover. I havnt used it.

http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/showthread.php/12106-0-16-Lionhead-Aerospace-Inc-Solar-Rover-v3-6-New-update-01-08

I use this Cart for my Rovers. Drive it using the I K L J N keys.

http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/forum/showthread.php/7854-PLUGIN-PART-0-16-Carts-v1-33-Ladders-Context-menus-Multi-Unit-Support

Or use the stock parts. Put some wheels on it and use RCS thrusters to push it around.

You can make satellites and stations (they are just pretend until future.) and put them in orbit around the Mun or Kerbin. Or make your own Munar base (again pretend for now. actual game play in future updates)

My first Munar landing. was pretty much the same I landed but toppled and everything broke apart. So many Kerbals left on the Mun.

My first one since EVA had Jeb stranded since my design didnt have enough to take off. So a rescue mission was put into place....I didn't have any room. So I switched Jebw ith a dude took Jeb home and then use an empty pod to rescue the other guy!

I asked in another thread, but figured I might as well move the request here:

About Nova Punch, does anyone have the file for that?

Some "licensing" forum rule is stopping one of the makers from linking it in his thread. Kind of odd, given the fact that all of this is completely open source and he gave credit to the other people involved, but I guess rules are rules.

I'd much appreciate it if a duder could send me a link to download it or something until they sort things out over there.

I was having trouble finding the most up to date the other day, so I downloaded an older version.

Now that even has been taken down. Does kind of suck.

I've been having 2 problems that I don't remember running into when playing earlier builds of the game. The first is that my rockets almost always hit "turbulence" at 7,000 and 12,000 meters (sometimes 4,000), where it just starts shaking. Usually enough to shake the whole thing apart. The second is a strange tendency for solid rocket boosters to work perfectly fine until they're JUUUUUST about out of fuel, at which point they shoot straight up through the components stacked above it (those parts usually being a decoupler, engine and liquid fuel tanks, resulting in the whole thing exploding).

I'd really like to be able to launch a rocket without it flying up its own ass when the solid boosters run dry or rattling to pieces the moment it breaks through one layer of the atmosphere.

Advanced SAS and lots more SAS will help your turbulence. In theory.

I have a base rocket design I used and change whats on top. However when I was useing it with a long top it wobbly around more and then would start doing flips. I shortened it and it works fine. I even threw more SAS to make sure.

So instead of

------------------------

Take the parts and place them radially.

=====

To reduce length and wobble. Hope you understand.

As for Boosters rockets I have know clue. I try to use Solid boosters as little as possible, never on my main body, always on the outside.

And MODULAR! With a new Keyboard coming out. I have to think, is it so packed that it has many wasted functions?

I am a big fan of Madcatz Cyborg gaming range.

I have a Cyborg R.A.T 5 Mouse and a Cyborg 7 Keyboard.

However....I admit some of the functions on the keyboard I never use as-well as on my mouse.

On my mouse I do not use the thumb wheel. Why? Because I am left handed and it is under my palm. Impossible to use.

I rarely use the Sniper button. Its the red button on the side it reduced to DPI for more accurate shots.

I never use the different programmable Profiles my mouse can have and change at the click of a button.

I am forever useing the DPI on the fly buttons, however other Mice have that.

The metal frame and laser are absolutely perfect for me. Lost too many mice to lense's either laser or optical going wonky.

You can customize it alot depending on what model you get, and It it absolutely comfortable even going against the grain and using it with a left hand.

My Keyboard has 12 extra keys I NEVER use. Those are the 12 on the left and right sides. You can program them to run macros. I barley know what a macros is let alone one I want to use and define to one Key.

Other than that its all used The "Cyborg" mode. You press the little face in the middle and then different quadrants light up diffrentyl One important thing in this mode. The windows key is disabled. Meaning no hitting it during a game!

Granted alot of the functions are athetic. I enjoy it.

Brings me to the NEW! S.T.R.I.K.E 7

Its cool. However if I had it, I would waste its potential...I am not sure what the true potential is to the right person. Man its go so many features. I think half of them arnt even shown in this video. I assume its got all the same functions as my current keyboard with 8 new things ontop and modular ability.

Taking inspiration from the company's modular R.A.T. gaming mouse, the S.T.R.I.K.E. 7 boasts a durable metal body, mechanical keys, and five interchangeable components (including the keyboard): a V.E.N.O.M. TFT-LC touchscreen, the main keyboard, four programmable buttons on the Function strip (24 programmable buttons throughout the entire keyboard), number pad and a "3-part active palm rest and two wrist rest" extension.

There is stuff I dont know how people are to use. There is a thumb scroll and red button I assume is a sniper mode button, as I have detailed. However....its on a wrist guard. The guard is useful....the functions on it?

What do you guys think?

PS It costs $300

I love the first one story wise. However I find it hard to go back to it as it feels so stripped vs Kotor2.

However... Kotor2 story crashes, except the game play is better.

I was going to replay Kotor 1 and Xbox 1. However I spent a month looking for the disc. It just vanished found the box, not the disc. So I decided Kotor 2 and to use only duel Pistols no lightsaber! However On Onderain I got stuck between two force feilds and had no saves that could get me out without doing 12 hours of game again.

However I would totally replay is for the restoration as much as it fucked up...it just had enough good in it to make me like it.

Survival mode can mean many different things. It simply isnt "Wave" based game play.

Survival can mean one life to complete the entire game, It can mean 1 life against many enemies for infinite E.G Fighting games. Survival can simply be the game is stacked against you and have to survive.

However the main thing that ties them all together is the use Survival.

Horde is very simply: Hordes are attacking in waves while you are stationed in a fixed point. Either for a set amount of waves or for infinite.

If anything complain that "Wave based survival mode." should be merged with Horde.

I had copy of Half life that I played mods with like CS and TF...then I had to buy another copy since the CDkey went weird. Loaded up the game and was met with "you must register this with steam." and did so.

So I had Half life, CS,TF, Day of defeat. All from the start.

Then I bought in-store.....CS source and Day of Defeat source. Then a copy of Half life 2.

My first actual purchase off steam was Freedon fighters. I then bought a ton of other things.

I wasn't able to get a proper screenshot off quick enough but I crashed my first rocket into the Mun and with Jebediah no less. I restarted and Jeb is fine now.

That is what we at Kerbal Space Center call a "simulated mission."

Just read Gillens manifesto and you'll get it, hopefully

New Games Journalism (NGJ) is a video game journalism term, coined in 2004 by journalist Kieron Gillen, in which personal anecdotes, references to other media, and creative analyses are used to explore game design, play, and culture.[24] It is a model of New Journalism applied to video game journalism. Gillen's NGJ manifesto was first published on the now defunct state forum/website, a community of videogame players often engaged in discussion and analysis of their hobby, from which an anecdotal piece, Bow Nigger,[25] had appeared. Gillen cites the work as a major inspiration for and example of what NGJ should achieve and the piece was later re-published in the UK edition of PC Gamer, a magazine with which Gillen has close professional ties.

What.

I have a Bo from Binary Domain joke...however I dont think should be said. i dont know if that is Wiki graffiti or a serious thing.
