Phenomenal sandbox game where your world and how you live and shape it is entirely up to you. One of the best gaming experiences I've ever had!
A light-hearted sim-pastiche of the gaming industry that avoids the cynical in-jokes. Love it.
Overblown and overlong, yet this Western epic actually managed to inspire me just as much as the classic film westerns it pays homage to. Maybe more so.
A really cruddy action game with a patchy story, but Kaine is one of the best video game characters ever created. Heck she's one of the best characters full stop. I love her.
Better than Star Wars and Star Trek put together. Sci-fi schlocktastic.
The game that got under my skin more than almost any other, with its psychological profiling and mysterious torch-lit exploration. First-rate.
Surreal, crazy, utterly inspired level and character design here, married with a bewildering and almost incomprehensible story. Tagged onto a rather familiar action game, but absolutely phenomenal nevertheless.
Absolutely the best Pac-Man ever, and one of the best arcade game experiences around. Absolutely genius design.
A cleanly designed homage to Gauntlet with pitch-perfect gameplay throughout. Faultless.
The reason that I choose gameplay over conventional storytelling every single time. A joy to play, but a bummer to consider in terms of artistic merit.
