any SMT game really (persona 4 and strange journey are the best) FF13, metro 2033 has some great tunes (no soundtrack though), Stalker has great ambient tracks too, L4D and L4D2.

sorry, so it's meant to be funny? That wasn't the feel I've gotten so far. Rockstar really just can't do serious games, GTAIV had the most boring protagonist compared to tommy or carl (even he was serious to a point, but at least it was somewhat funny and believable)
I'm sure the gameplay will be alright, but I for one thing the story is the most important, especially when it's obsidian doing it.
