I can actually say with confidence that none of those games appeal to me.

I played all the way through it and got to the last boss and just couldn't make myself care about it.  My main complaint is the characters.  Too many of them and all of them were pretty lame and under developed.  Chrono Cross was probably a better game than I remember it being but Chrono Trigger set the bar so high for me I was just expecting more of the same. I did not like this one half as much as Trigger.  The much greater number of characters resulted in very few of them getting anything near meaningful character development, so I really did not give much of a piss what happened to any of them at any given point.  I was not a fan of the battle system, either.  Good game, just not as good a sequel to Chrono Trigger as it could have been.

" Not going to argue about that point. The ps3 is the best BD player on the market and will be for a long time to come since its BD firmware can be updated through the internet. He said he will get a PS3 just for the BD player, so he has no interest in all the great exclusive games that system has to offer?. That kind of statement is something that a none gamer will say. 

Edit: The ps3 is also one of the best DVD players out there, The upscaling capabilities are truly amazing.

I believe Fox actually had this for a very brief time when I was a teen.  It was my first exposure to anime, and made me seek out more, which I got via Sci-Fi channels Saturday Anime.  Which brought me to my second anime and first full length anime movie, Iria: Zeiram The Animation.  So I guess I owe Sailor Moon for being a gateway to something pretty awesome.
