This is a public service announcement regarding some statements being made on various websites, including Giant Bomb, that we need to call to attention.

First off, from IGN. This is a comment on Wii Music plastic shell peripherals.

Nintendo is genius. I don't care if all their little gimmicks are for kiddies, the people over at the big "N" are brilliant! At least they know how to make money. The Wii Music peripherals are made by ezGear, not Nintendo.

The REmake is made by Capcom, not Nintendo.

CONSOLE DEVELOPERS DON'T MAKE EVERYTHING FOR THEIR CONSOLE.

That is all.

I kinda got lost. Are you essentially just saying. these dudes criticize Nintendo for remaking shit, and then you give the resident evil remake example, to defend nintendo? Im kinda lost. If thats kind what your leaning at, Ill buy Nintendos stuff anyway cause I like it.

What he's trying to say is that Nintendo isn't responsible for every remake, gimmick, or piece of shit other companies make for Nintendo consoles.  In the case of the plastic shells, Nintendo would never stoop that low... wait, Mario Kart Wii comes to mind.

Very true... but they must encourage it.  Don't third- parties still have to license items with Nintendo before releasing it upon the public?

Who doesn't license something being made for their console? I mean, really? Has there ever been a game that was refused a license for the purpose of quality control and not controversy in the past 15 years? Hell, has there been any for any medium in history?
