Ya, I guess the PC version is the one to get!  I'll still probably get it for my 360 as it isn't the kind of game that benefits from a mouse and keyboard.  I have to share the computer, but I have a 2 360s hooked up in the house, so less sharing!

Yeah man, I instantly thought to myself why it took that long for people to put the gun game in things other than Counter-Strike.  They could have at least changed the name though...

But yeah, I think I'm gonna go with Halo and MW2 still.  Treyarch has good ideas, but I still don't believe the actual act of shooting a dude in the face will be as good.

Hence why people eat meat from factory farms.  As long as they don't like those animals that much and they don't see the way they are killed, they don't care.

Sorry dude, but tons of people totally do kill deer for fun every year.  People routinly enjoy killing animals around the world on a daily basis with minimal outrage.

And once again, I'm not saying that eating meat is the same thing as torturing an animal.  It just happens that the modern US meat industry does things that most people would equate to toture because it is profitable, and we let it happen.  PETA is nuts, but those videos they show of factory farms aren't some crazy exception.  The cows and pigs livin in wide open spaces in a pasture is the exception, and that's usually because it is required to be certified organic.

"Some of you need to understand that comparing this to the animals we kill to eat is completely stupid. We kill those to survive, we need to eat. Those useless killing or beating of animals for no reason (In cruels way should I add) is senseless. This is the kind of thing I completely hate. "

#1.  You don't need meat to survive.  In fact, most people probably eat more meat than is healthy.
#2.  Factory farms often treat animals in ways that are much worse than that video.  Compared to the life of the average pig in America, those dogs got off easy.  Either you don't know much about where your food comes from, or you only care because puppies are cute.
#3.  You are sorta implying that if they would have ate those dogs after that it would have been okay, which it wouldn't have.

Look at this post people.  This man makes a statement and he applies it to everything equally.  He doesn't go, "Man, I don't care when chickens are tied in a row, upside-down on a conveyor belt as their necks go past a buzzsaw, but drowning a dog is mean and the person that does it deserves to die!"  I disagree with what he is saying, but you gotta respect how he isn't a hypocrite like most of the people in this thread.

Yeah, cats and dogs are household animals BECAUSE we think they are cute.  You could totally have a pig that would like to play with you and respond to its name and be as good of a pet as any dog, but what's stopping you?  Just because you don't like an animal as much doesn't mean it becomes more humane when you kill it.  If you buy a dead pig that spent its whole life in a cage where it can't even turn around or a dead chicken that spent most of it's life recovering from ammonia poisining because it literally lives in its shit, you are either ignorant or don't care about animals.  I eat hamburgers and ham and eggs all the time, but then I can't tell people that eating or killing a dog is a horrible, heinous act.  Come on man, this is eithics 101.

For the record, insects ARE animals.  And if we are judging the importance of an animal's life by the complexity of their central nervous system, that ham and tuna (with dolphins) you ate is worse than what that girl did.

But let's be honest here, the outrage is because puppies are kittens are cute.  If they were throwing some slimey reptile in the water, this thread wouldn't exist.  I'm not saying what she did is right, just people have to be careful when talking about this stuff because it is very easy to become a hypocrite.  In a world filled with factory farms, you have to be a vegan if you legitimatly care about animals.  If you aren't, you are PAYING people to do stuff 10x worse than this.

Well, River City Ransom is a pretty cool game and this is the first attempt to copy it that I can remember.  If you are going to be derivitive, at least they picked something we haven't seen in 20 years.

"I'd like it if my firends gave a shit about video games.  Alas, they do not.  But good on anyone who does have gamer pals to do the vidya with.  I think it's a little silly when companies like Activision speak out against it in favour of Battlenet 2.0.  Why destroy a culture you helped, in part, to create? "

That's because that's the same culture that steals their games all the time.  Just saying...
