Yeah this game is insane. I think I beat Beldr but I gave up just after. It's so difficult it just takes away any desire to play it. And I'm usually good at this type of game.
Apollo, a well known caster, has a really helpful video guide for each race if you want to check it out. This stuff is for extreme beginners as opposed to Day9 who is more for people who have the basics figured out.
phew, thats good to know because the fear that they couldn't curse anymore was the only problem that anyone had with the changes to tested. Now that we know that isnt true anymore then its completely 100% fine. right guys?
They said from the start they could swear all they wanted, and doubly made sure so Gary could continue to do so on the podcast.
who the fuck cares? when Jeff gave Catherine a 2 star rating I still bought the game anyway, if you still wanna buy it than what do arbitrary scores matter?
Great example. I loved Catherine. Just because Jeff doesn't like it doesn't mean I'm not allowed to. It's amazing how these opinion things work.
The difference is, I trust Jeff, even when my opinion vastly differs from his. I don't trust IGN because they work too closely with publishers and their business model is too focussed on early access which opens it up for shady publisher influence.
Yeah and that's why I don't read IGN. I guess the point I and the duder I quoted is that scores don't indicate the quality of a game to anyone other than the person who reviewed it and you have to look at the person who reviewed its' preferences to judge whether their ideas apply to you or not. In a GB-style ranking system I would give Catherine a 4 star rating. Does that mean it is objectively a 4 star game? No, It just means I like it. I know Jeff doesn't seem to like kinda repetitive puzzle games like Catherine so I knew his review wouldn't necessarily be a good indicator for me.

$50 is worth it for Phantasmagoria alone. That was legendary. And Jar Time is amazing too. I will be resubscribing for sure. I need my fill of Random PC Games and if I need to pay for it I will happily.
@RainVillain: Well I would just run Steam on Mac and go to the Mac section. :-) Most of the TellTale games are Mac compatible if you are into those types of adventure games.
Yeah that's what I do. There's getting to be a lot of games on Mac Steam. The ports of Civ IV they have available are great and I've sunk hundreds of hours into them when I'm up at my cabin with no access to my desktop.
I would go with Steam over the App Store for anything that is available on both because it will likely be cheaper on Steam. The App Store is kind of a rip off.
Bioware should change the ending and make it even worse.
Patch it to completely remove it and instead have a completely black screen with white text in all caps that says "This is why you can't have nice things".
