I have one save for each character, then while playing make multiple saves. When i switch to another char i delete all the saves from the last char except the most recent so i don't have a bunch of useless slots. It says the name on the PC version.

To me its kind of interesting. Try using the killall command in skyrim and creating a world reminiscent of Lord of the flies. Hundreds of corpses litter the world and only the children remain. It's like bringing fallout to skyrim, so in this case it's actually more fun not to be able to kill the children.
