I don't get what the whole Patrick covering Indie games makes him a hipster thing is about. That's just how the industry is swinging right now. The reason there is a lot more Indie coverage than AAA coverage is because Indie games are starting to out number AAA games by a large margin. Plus they come out at all times of the year, rather than just March, September, October or November like the big AAA games.

There is very little middle ground left in the gaming industry. It's either AAA or Indie at this point. If you don't like to hear this then idk what to tell you. The industry is in an evolving period and Giantbomb is going to stick with it throughout. GB will cover AAA games as they come out and they will cover Indie games as they come out. It's really as simple as that

As for myself though, there are two things I would love GB to do.

1. Hire more staff: Now with Ryan gone (RIP buddy) GB is missing a HUGE personality gap that would be hard to fill. They could hire some young kids for tech purposes to fill Ians role, but they need someone else who's been in the industry for a long time and someone who knows wtf he's talking about. I'm talking about one Mr. Adam Sessler. I know that Adam said he was burnt out in his tumblr, but I think GB would be a refreshing place for him. There are little to no reviews to worry about and everything is so relaxed here that I think he would have a fantastic time with the GB crew. Plus, Sessler is one of the smartest mother fuckers I've ever seen besides Jeff. His debate with Jack Thompson was incredible. Before G4 closed down, Sessler was the ONLY redeeming factor for that shitty ass company.

Also again, They could hire younger guys to fill Ians role and maybe eventually bring them in for videos if their personalities are strong enough like they did with Drew.

2. Bring back TNT: I'm sure TNT hasn't been brought back because it's a sore spot still for the guys. There is only ONE man who could fill that seat as host and that was Ryan Davis. But TNT was probably one of the greatest features on the site. The interaction the crew was able to have with the audience was great and people loved it. There was nothing like getting a kill on one of the guys and seeing it played back on the stream and then having your moment solidified on the archive. I just hope the guys can find the strength to bring TNT back!

It just seems like the Wii U version is going to need more time is all. If the 3DS version is close to being done then why not just release it when it's done? Would people rather them not released the 3DS version until the Wii U version is ready? That wouldn't make much sense at all...it'd be Rayman Legends for the Wii U all over again

But i'm loving all the changes so far. Very smart and thought out. Sakurai must get very little sleep trying to develop these games

They haven't shown other characters from past games yet like Captain Falcon, ness, etc...so I'm really worried they won't be in. But Captain Falcon has been in their from the very beginning so no way they'd leave him out, right? In fact, I don't think I've even seen Star Fox yet

and I will be getting my PS4 the first week of December (I get 25% off one whole transaction at walmart for working black friday this year, so i'll be getting my PS4 for about $300 plus cheaper games) but I should be getting Killzone and BF4

Hopefully they add a favorites option for the friends list soon. Not a big deal for me, but i'm sure it's a pain in the ass for the GB crew who have hundreds of friends (jeff at least)

Yes, as long as it has the same UPC on the back then it'll be fine to return the one from target at gamestop...don't see any problem with that myself. If all else fails just find your local Wal-Mart and take it back there. If they stock the item they will take it without a receipt for store credit that you can use on another game

I'd call your local gamestop first though and make sure they will sell you Zelda at midnight. They will be open regardless because the Xbone launch, but some gamestops are assholes about selling something in the store that isn't part of that specific event. You'll probably have to wait until all Xbone customers are taken care of and sorted before they will sell it to you.

This isn't supposed to be the same Link, so of course his hair wouldn't be pink because ALTTP link wasn't supposed to have pink hair either

But I wouldn't be surprised if there were a new game + option that has pink hair or something just to satisfy some people

I was REALLY hoping that Adam Sessler would end up at GB once he left G4...I respect that man so much. I love the GB crew like none other, but Sessler can argue like a mother fucker lol...but he ended up landing at Rev3 which isn't a bad games site...but i'll be honest in saying the only reason i'm subscribed to their youtube channel is because of Sessler (i'm warming up to Tara Long though, enjoyed her Knack review)

I also really love Jeff Green. If he really did say that it'd be his dream job to join GB then I don't see why not unless they just don't have it in their budget. I could get use to his voice on the bombast every week and he plays off the others so well when he is on it. That's the most important thing IMO here at GB is how well someone meshes with the rest of the group.

Nintendo is slowly getting there...about a year and a half and I don't think there will be any more major complaints about either of the two systems
