Oh, product tie in games. How we love your crude and often hilarious efforts to shoehorn food or drink in to something exciting! Of course everyone knows about Pepsiman... but how about the Coke-fetishist Dolucky games or Yakisoban? So tell me, (or more likely, don't, as nobody will read this!) what's YOUR favorite food product-related game?
You know what, fuck it, it's chicken time.
CRUMBED CHICKEN WITH GREEN MAYONNAISE
4 chicken breast fillets lemon juice paprika plain flour 2 eggs dried breadcrumbs 4 tbsp olive oil salt and pepper
Split the chicken breast fillets down the middle and fold them outward, like opening a greeting card. Press them to make them flat and roughly roundish in shape. Sprinkle with lemon juice and paprika. Set out three bowls. Put flour in one bowl and season it with the salt and pepper, mixing it well. Whisk the egg with some salt and pour in to the second. Fill the third with the breadcrumbs. Dip the chicken breasts in the flour first, then the egg, then roll in the breadcrumbs. Chill the chicken if you have time!
FOR THE MAYO: 1/2 cup mayonnaise 2 tbsp capers, drained and finely chopped 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped finely
Mix all the mayonnaise ingredients. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and fry the chicken, turning as necessary until golden on both sides and well cooked. Add more oil if it becomes necessary. Serve immediately when they're done; sprinkle them with pepper and serve with the mayonnaise and lemon wedges.
So the whole thing is entirely subjective. But the question of the OP has been answered: "Why do people call it the mega drive?" Quite simply, because that's what it was called in most regions! The whole thing was obviously a bit of cheeky trolling anyway. And to keep in theme with GENESIS, here's some more PHIL COLLINS for everyone's viewing pleasure! I'm coming down like a monkey... but it's all right!
Let's see here... My other hobbies include, but are not limited to: Literature and film, both good and bad... manga... rare shell collecting... picking wild mushrooms.... And, of course, chopping down cherry trees. But who am I kidding, that isn't a hobby. It's a way of life.
Genesis? Did somebody say... Genesis? the first thing that comes to my mind is Phil Collins... It was called the Genesis for copyright/marketing reasons, but the Mega Drive is the superior name, IMO. The name "Genesis" is just forever associated with the band for me. MAAAAAMAAAAAAA......
And Sega CD was the MEGA CD. That's one SERIOUS CD there, brother!
