@JumpingRetards: Sadly I don't. All of those builds are sort of engrained in my muscle memory, but if you head to that link from Thule, you should find them there.
Is it even possible to be placed straight into Masters? Every Master I know got demoted.
I'm thinking that the quota of the top 2% of active players (right?) is the reason why so many of us S2 masters were demoted. Since not everyone is active in Season 3 yet, our MMRs are not high enough to make the top 2% cut-off with the reduced "active" player base. Or I could be completely wrong.
You know what else sucks? Having to spend even more time building your spellcaster than it takes to charge that 25 energy, and then having to buy an energy upgrade just to keep up with Protoss.
If only templar could cloak, snipe, and storm. :) I think that taking out the amulet was a great move because being able to warp in a templar and immediately storm was pretty ridiculous. If the energy granted by the amulet was lowered, that would essentially defeat the purpose of the amulet in the first place.
I assume that you are going to be maining Protoss? If so, my go-to builds are:
PvT: 3 gate pressure into expand
PvZ: 3 gate expand
PvP: 3 gate robo
If you really want to improve your macro, you're probably going to do best by focusing on a single build for each match-up and focusing specifically on constant probe production (especially during battles) and constant unit production (except during certain timings where you need to tech/expand).
I played a little bit of T and P back in the SC:BW days, but when SC2 rolled along, I started playing Protoss. Since then, I have switched to Zerg, switched back to Protoss, then to Terran, back to Protoss, and finally I have settled on Random.
Honestly, I think that Protoss is by far the most boring race (quite possibly because I have spent so much more time with it). I'd recommend everyone try playing random as it really is a lot of fun. Each race has certain match-ups and strategies that are ridiculously fun (ZvT, TvZ, TvP).
