@mb: I agree with everything except 120hz and Smart apps.

120hz is unnatural and forces the TV to over process the source image. It looks weird and often doesn't improve anything with gaming or movies. It also costs more than any standard 60hz TV but adds little benefit. You're better off turning off any sort of image post-processing on modern TVs as all they do is mess with the actual source video against how it was initially made. I recently bought a 120hz TV thinking I'd see the benefit, but I have yet to find it make anything look better at all.

Smart apps are a good idea in theory, but most of them are poorly implemented and not updated well. I want my TV to be fully functional as a panel and that's about it. Everything else is handled better though boxes. Whether that be Apple TV, Chromecast, PS3, 360 etc. Sure, they may be functional, but they are very bare bones and I've never seen them work very well.

Interesting article Patrick, thanks. I never made it through all of Shank. I would agree that he is not that likable of a character. The gameplay was not bad though, but also not terribly different than what you can get elsewhere. I think this is mostly a case of the internet going after devs without all the facts as we see so often these days.

This is the worst kind of punch to the gut. Goodbye Ryan Davis, you will be remembered.

I may not have ever met him, but his presentation and years of watching him in front of the camera have really just hit me now. Like I just lost one of my close friends.

New modes are a must. I'm really hoping for a clan/faction based co-op survival mode fighting infected for resources. Uncharted had co-op, this could definitely benefit from it.

I was wondering this as well. It appears I will probably just have to play through on easy for a third time with a guide close in had. I only missed about 8 Voxaphones and 6 or so of the Sightseer objects.

I've finished Infinite twice now and I plan to do an easy run to pick up the few trophies that I missed.

The last time I played a single player game this much was probably Condemned: Criminal Origins. I finished that 5-6 times.

Too far away to make it there. Really excited to see the video of it whenever it goes up though!

@grantheaslip: I wish you luck. But I tried that last week a few times and got the same results.

@grantheaslip: That sounds about the same. It's just the prompt that you get when it is already running on your screen when you go to standby and leave it up. What it should do is launch straight into the avatar tap mini-game for the clock, but instead I am met with the prompt asking if I want to launch it. Hitting yes goes into the min-game, but it screws up the place order of other people and makes me in 1st every time. Everyone else also appears to have already woken up, so I can't cheer anyone. I have done this with the machine not in standby and let it launch normally and have been able to cheer people. This seems like a larger issue.
