As much as we all love seeing people talk shit about bad games, I'd rather watch Alex talk about games he actually likes.
I feel like so much of our impression of Alex is based on a few, fairly minor things (as evidenced by the majority of the posts in this thread). He reviews bad games, occasionally good sports games, likes movies, wrestling and he has that whole Nicolas Cage thing... but we don't really know what it is he loves about games.
Part of the original idea for Giant Bomb was that editors would cover the games the audience was interested in and advocate games they think the audience would/should be interested in. So find something you think we should know more about and tell us why, advocate something you think needs more coverage.
I wonder why they are wasting time with more animus stuff, by the end of Revelations doesn't Desmond know everything he needs to know to fight his real enemy:
The only thing that springs to mind is Amnesia which has a message when you start telling you not to focus on "beating" the game and instead try to get into the atmosphere. It's essentially just "play along and you'll have more fun".
For the Best Downloadable game I kept hoping someone would remember The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile which I had a load of fun with when it came out. Overall, it probably isn't a better game than Bastion but it still should've gotten a nomination.
