Malt-O-Meal with butter, milk, and sugar = so good. I also make a mean oatmeal - I add brown sugar to the boiling water before adding the oats to sweeten it up.
" @apeman: Very true, I have no doubt that sports games are not for me. That fact only makes me more baffled by them! The last sports game I played and enjoyed was Brian Lara Cricket for the Mastersystem; A game so abstracted from the reality of cricket it became an actual game.
How's that for semicolon use? "
You can use a semi-colon to join two independent clauses (think: sentences that can can be complete and grammatically correct on their own). "I like playing with myself; I could play with myself every day."
OR
You can use a semi-colon to join two independent clauses with a conjunctive adverb. "I like playing with myself; however, I would prefer my girlfriend play with me."
@apeman - in the sentence above you would use a comma since "a game so abstracted from the reality of cricket..." is a dependent clause. (Or you could use a dash, or a parentheses, whichever you prefer.)
