I got the collectors edition of the game and currently reading the book that comes with it. Hopefully i'll get some answers, it is really interesting. So far i've got answers of why Nighingale is so mad all the time and im berrly on page 18 out of 129.
@Rhaknar: It's differntitly Fanboy. Seriously, why blame Microsoft when it was SquareEnix themselfs who wanted it to make it muiltplatform in the first place.
It is a huge! spoiler aleart that could happen Minitues after finding the pages, but some pages actully tell you things that were happening that you couldn't see. It tells you things happening in the background when Alan Wake wasn't there. So at one point some pages do tell you things that will kill the surprise, but at the same time it brings you into the story more.
@h0lgr i think my $20 went to the book, and Soundtrack. Which is so worth it. The book is really answering some questions i've been askin. Can't wait to finishe it.
not scary, i mean sure i jumped once or twice through the whole game but it differntly gives you that goosbumps feelings everytime the fog starts moving quickly.
i think one of the developers already said there was a sequel. I actully enjoyed the ending, it really was a clifhanger that i was not dissapoint of. I wouldnt say it's, how most people would say, "trick" you into giving your money up for DLC because if it was it was obviously that good you would want to pay money to see what happeneds. If it was a bad game i probably wouldn't care either way. But seeing as how i wanted more and more of this game already, i cant wait for the DLC to come. I want more Alan Wake not because it didnt answer much, but because its an amazing game. I am hoping the book that came with the Limited Edition could answer more questions.
I enjoyed the Limited Edition already. There are a bunch of extra contents, the free DLC and Avatar items are nice. The Soundtrack so far is fantastic for this game. for an extra $20 i love it.
