" Why would I like a screen on my controller? "
Yah I'd rather just buy a bigger tv and put more stuff on that screen. Having a screen for local coop stuff... really... how many people play local coop THAT often. I've done it like 5 times in the past 5 years. Plus why would you want to bend your neck down and back up all the time to look at the other screen. I didn't buy a wii so I'm doubting I'll pick this up if that's the big "innovation".

Anyone been thinking about what they want from next gen hardware? Personally the top tier games like Uncharted or Gears look great to me, I'd be happy if every game had models/textures/animations like the best games out there. They should focus on fixing the little graphical stuff to give the game better touches like...

- 60 FPS Always @ 1080P

- Terrain that always stays deformed or destroyed throughout the whole level

- Almost no load times if possible

- Bodies that never disappear (not in multiplayer it might look silly)

- No more 2D sprites to cheat real polygons, can't we have 3D trees or fully 3d crowds in games?
- More NPC's in the environment so cities actually appear to be full of people, like in mass effect 2 there is maybe 20  people in a city it's weird...

Anyone agree or do you just want them to hit the reset button, push the hardware for better models and textures but have the same limitations they do now? Feel free to add suggestions

I don't go to screened and having him on GB podcasts and videos was annoying personally... I prefer the upbeat fun manner of the GB guys, this dude was too cynical or something. I cringed when he would be on a the Bombcast.

Double isn't enough, the first had like 5.... They need to talk to bioware or Rockstar.

I think from Burnout 2 ---> Burnout 3 for me was the most drastic shift. The second was a pretty fun game, with a neat little crash mode. The 3rd totally blew my mind when it came out. Come to think of it, that may be the last time I was "suprised" by a game. I suppose they should have come out relativily close to one another. It's hard to compare games 4 generations apart.

" What is this "job interview" nonsense that you speak of?  Kidding...hoping that I'll graduate in June (I won't fail my classes...hopefully). Hoping that I can somehow apply for a job writing for a website, or an internship on a film studio or even a game studio (I hear Disney Interactive's looking for people). In the meantime, right after graduation I'll get myself a part-time job, most likely something in retail. "

Yah if you can an internship could be a better way than retail. I made more at my internship last summer per hour than any other job I ever had. Plus it could lead to a full time job if your perform well.

I'd suggest spending a week just getting good cover letters, resume, and an online portfolio of your work. Once you have it down you can easily send it everywhere much quicker.

So far a few interviews for myself but only one offer, but I'm looking to move out of my area so I may not take it. I've literally applied to about 100 jobs across about a dozen cities in the states, Been writing letters and sending out resumes pretty much all day.

I'm a Mechanical Engineer. What about everyone else?

When I click the play button, I just get a white screen. I updated to the newest opera last night. Not sure if it's a setting thing in opera or the site. Never had trouble with previous verisions.
