You may say that these are not the best, but I have not played any Final Fantasies, Chrono Trigger, Earthbound, or any big JRPGs.  I am playing Oblivion right now but since I haven't finished it, I can't really comment on it.

I'm still ashamed I've missed out on Deus Ex, didn't care much for Morrowind, it was better than Oblivion tho, great gameworld.

There are some 'also rans' like Mass Effect, Fable 2, Oblivion, and  Diablo 2, but while I enjoyed them, they didn't really change my opinion of the genre like the games in my top three did.  Also, I'm working my way through Persona 3 FES with 4 in the wings, so I am willing to bet one of those will knock out one either DC2 or ES:M by the time I am done.

Mass Effect and Fallout 3 are really the only RPGs I've put time into.
