So much angry before the game is even out. I thought we were far enough along in human evolution that we waited to see how the actual product turned out, rather than screaming to the heavens about every little thing we see out of context. Silly me.
Some good beats in there. I've heard alot of people say they just can't get emotion out of a video game, but I've never been that way. As long as the craftmanship is done well enough I can get an emotional reaction out of just about any media.
Limiting yourself to 30 FPS!? What madness is this? You know when 30 FPS was acceptable? The Middle Ages, that's when! This is the future, and I will force every last frame out of my hardware if I have to wring my graphics card between my hands to get it.
@Akrid: I.... don't understand your grievance, but damn it, it is so eloquently put forth, that I almost find myself agreeing with you despite myself. I really like the Skyrim mods I'm using now, because I feel they add more than they stand out in a negative way. I just give them a look when I notice them, think "that's pretty neat," and then I go merrily on my way. And I love the new retina-scratching HD mod. Always nice with a reminder that you belong to the PC Master Race. :)
@Draugen: It was never realistic to begin with, in SSX 3 i was riding down rails, doing break dance on top of the board, at 100 miles an hour!!!
Just like the stuff you see in this game.
And you can still get out of it whenever you want, you don't have to stay on it to the end.
I didn't mean it was more realistic before, but if you broadsided down the rail, and leaned just to the inside if it curved back onto the snow you could get just a little bit better racing line coming out of it. Super nit-picky, I know, but I will miss that.
