Well the only news source I really go to is anime vice but if your looking to watch anime id say Crunchyroll.com it has a large selection and has a pretty good Iphone app which is what i use but most are English sub but if you like anime im sure your ok with that

Id say the Rooster teeth podcast they talk alot about gaming but talk about every thing really it remindes me of the bombcast but with some pop culture thrown in for laughs. One down side they do a bunch of fact checking lol but just to prove each other wrong. they also rotate the cast every now and then witch I think is great.
