Go to UI Configuration and there is a checkbox called something like 'enable companion comparative tooltip'.

When you pick your specialization at level 10 check your inventory to see if there is a package containing starter gear. I didn't realize this when I picked Commando and was walking around for a good while without an assault rifle.

The rampant corruption in the Republic really goes a long way to explain how the Empire can seem an acceptable alternative to citizens. And the twist at the end of Ord Mantell for the trooper is pretty darn good.

I agree 100%. My commando just finished Coruscant and the trooper story has been excellent. The republic is far from utopian and everybody has their own ideas about what to do to fix it. A lot of those ideas are less than legal/moral and so my boy scout soldier happily rats them out. :) I'm really enjoying the game so far. The voice acting and decisions, even if they don't change a heck of a lot in the long run, are really adding to the experience. The combat is pretty good too, the novelty still hasn't worn off blasting things with my ginormous Commando assault rifle. :)

I got in and played a trooper to level 5 before work. It was very smooth, no lag or anything.

I got Morekei and it is badass with 100% magicka regen the only problem is it has 8 armor and therefore shuts off my mage armor.

This is my usual posse as a high elf conjuration mage. Those are my two conjured dudes along with my follower - and ya we just totally killed that dragon - we kill dragons hard.

I've lost two followers so far, Lydia and another guy whose name I can't remember. It seems like if they get hit enough after going down on one knee they will die. I think the dude was even used as a zombie by another mage during the fight because all that was left of him was a pile of ash.
