Which, for me, is a good thing. I turned in my "application" yesterday and I have got my fingers crossed. While I enjoy journalism, I am not too experienced at it, but when it comes to video production and editing, I have been doing that a while. I love that they have opened this up on the forums, otherwise I might not have heard of it since I don't live in the area (but will be willing to move).  ...and I spent a lot of time healing Tested's Will Smith in Team Fortress 2 this evening, maybe that will count for something :-) "

This would be amazingly awesome if I didn't go to school in Irvine. Come this time next year, if you have internships, I'll be there.

If only I lived less than the half a day's drive from the Bay Area that I currently do and wasn't going back to school, I'd love to be an intern. 
Oh well, maybe in a couple of years.

Oy. I went to school for journalism and am super interested in games and movies (and collected comics when I was a kid and still have a passing appreciation!). Unfortunately at the old age of 25 I've got a job, family, and mortgage payment that require my attention. Why couldn't GiantBomb have existed the summer of 04 or 05?!?!

I won't be able to be an intern this coming summer, or the one after that but I really want to when I can. Is there anyway I could know what I should study up on or get better at?

Good luck to everyone! I am not moving to the bay area but I am taking my first steps towards web development/design and this would be an incredible thing to do. I look forward to the interns coming and going and hopefully seeing some of their influence.

Is the internship available over the summer? As a college student going to school in PA, interning during the year would not be possible. I would however be willing to live in San Francisco during the summer for this.

Guys, I said that I applied. I think that's all your guys' cue to back off and either withhold your applications or to humbly withdraw them.  I don't want to have this talk again.
