@whyareyoucrouchingspock: No I got that, it sucks is what I'm saying. There being a meaning behind something doesn't make it interesting or fun to watch.
at some point in S2 which I thought took the tension out of the show. Also, the big event they were hinting at for that whole season was a shitty coincidence. So I was getting sour on the show before S3 even started but that season was still entertaining. Then season 3 started with the
, that stuff was equally absurb and boring. The main plot of S3 & 4 with Gus I don't care for. I don't think any of the new people they introduced were worth a damn. I don't know exactly what direction I really wanted the show to go but the way it has gone, it's incredibly uninteresting.
Breaking Bad is the most overrated show ever. There is no reason to like that show from season 3 onward.
The Wire is amazing, it exceeded the enormous hype I had for it before I watched it. It's crazy how many great characters that show had and even with the slow pacing, I was never bored with it. It was always leading to something amazing and I thought the show always had something important to say.
Season 4 is as good as entertainment gets. It was great throughout.
@Ben_H: Rare was dead to some people after they were bought by MS. No matter how great Nuts & Bolts and Viva Pinata were(pretty fucking great), they aren't magically going to make Nintendo/nostalgia fans sane.
Though now it looks like they're actually dead but hopefully they're working on a launch game or two(played with controllers) for the next console.
@xobballox: Yeah, Free Roam was fun but only for so long. I didn't like any of the modes with objectives. Racing was alright but there are actual racing games out there. That multiplayer just felt tacked on and it's still pretty high on the list Major Nelson puts out, it's baffling to me.
Brad is absolutely correct in that MGS4 deserved to be GotY.
That's a weird way to spell Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts.
GTA 4 is one of my favorite games ever. The city, driving, missions, story, physics, graphics... I dug all of it. It deserved the praise, the only thing it doesn't deserve is the multiplayer being successful. A ton of people still play that shit.
