I'll agree that that dude sucks, but why didn't she just tell him to just stop? It doesn't seem to have bothered her too much.

Don't get me wrong, I think the guy sucks and deserves something for it, but as long as we're dishing out should'ves to people, she probably should have confronted this guy about it later instead of plastering it all over the internet. Decent people make mistakes; one drunken fuck-up doesn't merit doing something that might ruin a job, especially the job of someone that was supposedly a friend. It's a private matter and should have stayed a private matter.

Incidentally, the reasons for not even using Facebook, Twitter, etc. just keep mounting higher and higher.

The dude was a jerk, but I kind of agree with this. She wasn't into him, but she didn't make that totally clear to him either. She was even kinda joking. It was uncomfortable joking, but maybe to a drunk/poor social skills dude it doesn't come across that way? Don't be afraid to say "No" people. Now, if she had called him out on his poor behavior and he either continued it, or was a jerk about it, she could go DEFCON 12 on his ass and email his mother for all I care, but I do almost feel sorry for the poor doofus. Almost.

Before I read the actual text exchange I thought this thing would be a rather innocuous comment that blew up into something for people to overreact about. One news site simply reported the "i will kiss you in the vagina" thing. Maybe not in the best taste, but that's no big deal. But then I saw the actual text exchange, and it is cringe worthy. Dude comes across as a total tool. What he said goes beyond slipping and saying something potentially inappropriate to more like the I'm-a-total-idiot side of things. And he just. doesn't. stop.

I beat it in one sitting the day it came out. It was really great, until the ending. One of the worst endings ever. Basically, consider this the first part of a story kind of thing. Other than the ending all my gripes are relatively small. It's a fun game worth checking out, but be warned: closure's a thing that ain't gonna happen.

It's nice that Steam makes it easy for developers to patch in case there is something wrong with your game, but its more ok nowadays if something is wrong with your game because they can just issue a patch for it. We live in an age of many bugs and many patches. Also my TF2 game is all the gigabytes now.

I always viewed Youtube as THE giant but this really opens up opportunities for other companies if true.

That scene where franco and the 2 girls walk down the pink lit dock in yellow was beautiful.

On another note, the movie was meant to point out the absurdity of the modern college experience, right? College is this time separated from "real life" where you live in a relatively safe gated community. Then spring break is this thing separated from that already separated experience. By trying to get away from college the girls accidentally end up in a shitty part of the real world, do shitty things, and still expect to walk away free.

I honestly don't think there was any message behind it. There is some very feint outlines of naivete and seeing life through the rose tinted glasses of teen fueled dreams - maybe a little bit 'coming of age' near the end when they call their parents. For the most part I think it is visually and audibly quite an experience. There is a movie titled Enter the Void that to takes the idea behind Spring Breakers to the extreme. It is an audio-visual acid trip that is fascinating to experience.

just came in this thread to mention Enter the Void. movie is crazy yo
