@Gambit: I used to main Guile but i moved to Sagat & Dictator. Guile is very demanding of your brain and if you're not naturally smart then you will fail with him but fortunately I was a brainiac with him.
" GOOD: I like the purple although its a bit soft for a character like Balrog and I think the ropes are cool along with the larger background shadow of Balrog.
I agree.
BAD: I think Balrog himself is a bit tacky for the kind of usage because he's tightening up his glove laces in the ring.. who does that? The text and symbol should have been places above the buttons since your hands will cover the current position most of the time and I'm not sure how much you want to represent the obvious fact you have an XBOX TE stick with the XBOX button labels but that's a bit unnecessary unless you have personal reasons such as playing other types of games on mame32 or something. Also its just my personal preference but the button borders need a little bit more creativity to them because right now they are not only dominating your design but also giving a in-store product feel instead of a custom design feel. I hope I don't come off as arrogant but those are my honest picks on it. Overall its a great design and concept. "
The SF4 Balrog art looks awesome, definitely better than the new SSF4 art of him, in my opinion anyway. The text is fine where it is, there's a lot more retail below the buttons, and who needs to look at your fancy stick slogan AS you're playing the game? I like the button labels, this way if someone else uses his stick they could tell immediately what buttons are what. When people use my SE, they try to hit the confirm (a) button and realize that I've rewired the stick and it is no longer in that location. Which then I have to explain all that crap. The button borders them self I think are also fine, it's just personal preference. It would be dope to see some brass knuckle style around them instead, but that might be difficult to do. "

your opinion but I think that balrog pic sucks, in my opinion anyway.

Wrong, there is less text on the retail TE stick and any decent brain can look down at his stick and see that. Also since your hands are covering most of the stick AS you are playing.. it would be cool and creative to have something showing above your hands corresponding with the buttons.

Anybody who doesn't know the standard street fighter button layout after all of these years or even get a good hint from the owner of the stick should not pick it up.

First of all I'm sure Animoney has posted artwork in concerns of his TE stick and not a modified SE stick. according to his button artwork, I believe his wiring is default like the majority of TE stick owners.
" Which then I have to explain all that crap.
One less problem he would have to go through.
" The button borders them self I think are also fine, it's just personal preference.
The button borders aren't a real threat but effectively dominate everything else because of the contrast from black, blue, purple, and then you have "white" on "white".

Brass knuckles, Balrog, and ringside rope just does not go together.
