@WinterSnowblind: Exactly. I just want to play online and the people who want nonsense like Twitter and Facebook and early access to demo's can pay for that.
Problem is - and Microsoft knows this - the number of Gold members would plummet like a brick if they did that.
I just don't see the point in self labeling based on the hobbies you have. I like music and can play the guitar reasonably well, but I don't go around calling myself a musician.
And there's enough douche bags around on the internet and real life that have this "We, the Gamers" attitude like the fact that they share a hobby with a large majority of people aged 15-35 is something fucking special and unique to make the term annoy me. No, just because you own an Xbox or a Playstaion does not mean you are part of some special club.
" @Karmum: The artical is "10 Best Games right now" "
Oh, DJ Hero at the top? NBA 2K10 and Guitar Hero: Van Halen on that list? Their certainly titled to their opinion, but it sucks when their opinion is more widespread than our opinions. Ugh. "
el oh el, opinions right?
I'm really not surprised a music magazine has a lot of music games on it's "best-off" list.
" Leona Lewis is a good singer and it would be the same J-Pop nonsense with or without her. "
Um, but that "J-pop nonsense" was actually written for the game and the vocal melody of the song is used in the actual orchestral music in the game , like they did with the themesongs for 9 and 10 etc.
This generic factory produced R&B nonsense is not.
