Yeah, I read the first one and can't really imagine how they could make it worse.  It's not the worst book I've ever read but it is the closest I've ever come to feeling physical pain from boredom.  Some part where the guy is locked up in prison or some shit and it just goes on and on and on.  If it was the author's intent to make the reader feel his character's pain then he's clearly an unequaled genius in fiction writing, but that doesn't make it good.

What's your point?  Surely not that there are a substantial number of people looking to pay money to play a Quake-style multiplayer arena shooter in 2010, which is clearly the future.

The first game must have really sucked to require a series reboot in the first sequel.  I probably should have played the original at some point, but really who wants to play a Quake-style FPS in the 21st century?

I like it.  Not too different but definitely not the same either.  I just hope they work on the performance as the first was a bit chuggy on PS3 and just short of playable on my PC.

I want a red one.  I've yet to own a red console and I'm always looking for new colors.

" I remember Brad mentioning that it's a part of the Summer of Arcade for XBLA which consists of 360 exclusives. In other words, it's highly unlikely that it'll come out for PC. I can't think of many 360 exclusives that's released on other platforms. "
Brad's actually wrong about that.  Lara Croft & the Guardian of Light is coming to PS3 and Windows as well.  I don't know if they've bought themselves a few weeks or a couple months of exclusivity, but it's definitely a "Summer of Arcade" game and it's definitely not 360-exclusive.

And highly unlikely to come out for PC?  Unless this is a colossal bomb (and likely even then) it'll end up on PC at the very least.

Off the top of my head I can think of these XBLA exclusives that have made their way to other platforms, which ones can you think of?

The Maw
Castle Crashers, technically not out on PS3 yet but it's gone to cert so it's close enough
TMNT: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled (you might recall this from Summer of Arcade 2009
Braid, 6-months to PC, a year to PS3. Probably under a similar exclusivity deal as Limbo.

" I'm moving pretty soon. I'm gonna be completely strapped for cash, as I try to pay bills, pay for food, and pay for school. Then I see this game. I must have it, but I don't own a 360. I'm not about to spend 300 bucks for one game, and I'm not gonna sink to buying someone's unwanted 360. When I spend a lot of money, I always pay for the best.

So, my question to you guys. Do you think this will ever come to PC. I'm sure it'll never make it to PS3, but what about Steam? Have any XBLA exclusives ever come to Steam? This game just looks so awesome.  And before anyone says so, no I'm not gonna buy a 360. I really don't have any spare money right now. "
Might look into buy an Arcade right now while they're cheap.  If you can find one at Target it can be had for $130 with a $30 gift card.  Not sure how big Limbo is going to be but it'd probably fit on the internal storage and you could always source yourself a cheap HDD on eBay.

The price is $15.

Sweet, since Fable gets boring after only a few hours this way I won't have to pay for it.  Not even to get it for a week from Gamefly!
