PlayStation 2, I was 21 and bought a 32" Samsung to go along with it. It came bundled with Final Fantasy XII, ace game.

No PS3 is lame, now I won't ever get to play this awesome game as I don't have a 360 nor a capable PC.

Infamous & Wipeout HD

I have a copy of the Saturn original and still I'd pay ANYTHING to have this game ported to PSN as well. Oh mighty Treasure, why have you forsaken me?

Get the MB Pro, it's a beautiful and very powerful laptop perfect for your needs (SC2 will run smoothly and nicely). You can alway install Windows via Boot Camp should you need it for any WIndows-only software although OS X has plenty of amazing software for you to discover.
 
And if it helps, I had been using Windows PCs my entire life and it took me about a week or so to feel ever more comfortable using OS X when I made the jump.
