If playing protoss is not fun for you, then change race. There's no point in playing games if they're not fun for you...
Switching races will propably be hard at first. I'd even go as far as advising you to buy a second account (if you live in the US, buy an EU account, and vice versa; that way you'll be able to participate in both the EU and US tournament. Two birds hit with one stone ;]). You'll have the luxury of seeing how the other races play in different leagues and won't have to be scared of getting demoted if they don't suit you.

If it's announced it will be next gen.(EDIT: Provided that it will truly be a new, standalone console and not just an upgraded Wii)
Also don't count on Sony or Microsoft releasing a new console before 2013. It hasn't even been a year since they've started to get serious with motion gaming, that's what they're focused on now.
It's gonna be my first stationary console announcment since I've started to really get into the gaming business.
Will it be called the Wii2? Wii HD? Or just a completely new name?
Will it only have more power? Or maybe show a completely new way to interact with games that will turn the industry as we know it upside down? Maybe mind control? Voice recognition? Custom UI commands?
Will it have a completely new online network? Steam integration?
@NekuSakuraba: He was propably a bit scared, that's all. Animals, especially small ones like rodents, tend to not like high pitched noise; animal instincts and all that. Try to keep the squeaking away from him, he'll be fine.
