The annual Video games and Anime con is happening again this Saturday at the Dundee University Students Union (which is in Dundee, derp.)
Funnily enough Giant Bomb user Ninja made a thread only yesterday about a Scottish Giant Bomb meetup, so the con on Saturday seems like a perfect opportunity to get the idea rolling.
There was a huge turnout last year and it's looking to be even busier this year with it only being on the one day. I also met up with Giant Bomb member rmanthorp last year and ended up playing MvC3 for almost the entire time we were there.
The event will start at 12pm and continue until around 7-8pm. There shall be an afterparty from then until 3:30am which is the place to be if you enjoy watching drunken cosplayers stumble around and make an arse of themselves.
Shoot me a PM if you are thinking about heading along, I'll be wearing my Giant Bomb hoodie the whole day plus I'm 6'4 so I should be easy enough to spot.
There is a a video games/anime convention happening in Dundee this weekend at the Dundee University Student Union. I was there last year and met up with Giant Bomb member rmanthorp, we had a blast and have met up a couple of times since then. I'll be attending again this year but unfortunately rmanthorp won't be able to make it.
This thread couldn't have popped up at a better time as this would be the ideal location for a Scottish meetup.
