I'm hyped for this game and i'll probebly buy no matter what.  The only thing that i'm scared of is the camera will be all wonky during ariel combat.  Hopefully that's one of the things the developers took note on for this game.

Having said that i'm still hopeful that this can be better than the past Spider-man games.

I played a Guardian in beta but i after launch i went with Minstrel.  It's a lot of fun and once you get the medium armor trait you can soak up a lot of damage.  Plus you got a wide array of offensive and defensive spells(including heals).

My mistrel is currently arround lvl 30 but i haven't played in months.  Thinkin of goin back to it when the Mines of Moria expansion comes out.

"While graphically the game looks good, the art design just smacks of Halo/GoW/Mass Effect."

Artistically, it looks more like Halo mixed the grittyness of GoW. Mass Effect's art style is much more clean than GoW.

But yeah, Fracture does look a lot like Halo especially from the opening cutscene. However the terrain deformation looks cool enough to set it apart somewhat. Geuss it'll just be the silent hit of 2008.

The way i see it is this is just an average shooter but with terrain deforming.  Yeah it will probebly get boring in single player but multiplayer is where i see the game's longevity coming from.

When you think about all the ways to shape the battlefeild to your advantage the possiblities are endless.  My only gripe with it is the starting rifle feels weak but the variety of weapons in the game more than makes up for that.  It looks like they only feature a few of them in the demo anyway so i'm geussing you discover alot more later in the game.

After playing the demo i thought it was pretty good.  It didn't feel gimmicky either but that's just me.

Looks pretty much a straight up Halo-esque shooter but with terrain deformation.

Yay!

I don't have a problem with QTEs, i don't understand why people are so radically opposed to em.  Spiderman 3 is the only game i've ever thrown a fit over them for.  I remember spending hours on the Sandman and Venom boss battles cause it was so complicated and i couldn't remember the whole combination of buttons.

Quick time events should be fun, not punishing by giving you and intant death for failure.  A lot of people didn't like the decryption mini-game in Mass Effect but i never had any problem with it myself, the version on the PC is actually worse than the 360 cause it takes you even further out of the game.  The PC version was too complicated where as the one on the 360 was simple, quick, didn't require a lot of skill.  Just need to focus and pay attention to which buttons light up on the screen.

Dude, it's STAR WARS!  How much intrest would they have to bring in to sell the game?  They got Vader, Jedi, lots of cool force powers, aswell as a few notable characters from the movies.  This game's got more than enough selling power.

As for the dude playing the Secret Apprentice, if anyone here watches Smallville he's gonna play Doomsday in the upcoming season so that should prove interesting.

you honestly think that?"

You've obviously never seen the hoards of fans that line up to see every Star Wars movie.  Not everyone's as disillusioned as you are about Star Wars.

To whoever posted all the detailed info for this game!  I don't check the SGW forums that frequently so i found this very informative.
