" @JJWeatherman: I can't do it right now but by tomorrow if you haven't found it I can scan my copy of it. But if I do this we must play Rock Band together some time. "
Hey, thanks for the offer! But, I actually just stumbled upon this weird forum that seems to have every cover ever. I found a Rock Band one! My bad for posting this thread, but I was seriously looking everywhere before (or so I thought). Anyways, if anyone else should need the cover:
I think you may have to go to my profile pictures to get the full version, but maybe not.
I'm wondering if anyone can help me out. I have a used copy of Rock Band that I bought to re-export my songs (it's kind of a long story). Point is, I was given one of those old busted Game Stop used game boxes with it. I want to swap out the box and find the full-sized, front and back Rock Band cover to slip in there. I can't seem to find an image of the whole thing on the interwebz, though. Does anyone know where I could find that? Maybe someone could scan theirs? I kid... unless you really want to. :P
I think graphics absolutely still matter. The evolution of graphics has always been a big part of video games as they've grown. To me though, pure pixel count and detail isn't what matters. I want developers to use new technology in creative ways that makes what I'm looking at interesting. If that means photo-realistic graphics in a sim racer, then fine. But then there's games like Prince of Persia (2008), or even Borderlands that use technology to create a stylized and much more interesting world. I think that as technology continues to grow, we will see even more interesting and crazy games, visually.
" The game play aspect is not as refined as ME2. The story line is awesome though and will even give you a desire to return to ME2 after you beat ME1 because the characters in ME2 will make more sense. Skip all of the tedious planet exploring stuff though. Driving around in that tank is terrible. All of the buildings in those planet exploring side quests use the same 3 templates and all of the planets have the same terrain if they aren't part of a major storyline mission. "
You're making the ghost of the Mako cry right now.
Oh, and exploring the moon was awesome, you can't deny that.
I say do it. It's been a long while since I've played it, but I recall it being great. If you're really into the story as you say, it seems like a no-brainer.
