An endurance run game doesn't need to be good, it just needs to be interesting enough to provide commentary on.

Of course it should be legal. Alchohol, Tobacco, hell even food from McDonalds is easily worse for your body than marijuana.

It's only "addictive" in the same way World of Warcraft is addictive. Some people are just too lazy to stop doing it. I used to smoke regularly but then I just kind of got bored with it and never turned back, and I know many people who have basically done the same. This kind of thing doesn't happen with an addictive substances.

But even if it WERE addictive, it should be the person's choice whether or not they want to take that risk.

Not pretentious and a good idea.

Branding is generally a smart move.

Quick list of points in the article:

-You get to set your age
-At the beginning of the game, you wake up to a doctor pulling bullet fragments out of your skull, and you have no idea who you are
-They're working on making the shooter mechanics better than in Fallout 3.
-Your skills are more important outside combat, and you can influence people with a high level of expertise in certain areas
-Super mutants are more dangerous, and there's a new type of Super Mutant who uses Stealth Boys
-The first town in the game is very Wild-West ghost town inspired
-There are a couple new melee attacks (Power attack, knockdown)
-Weapons can be fitted with a scope, larger magazine, silencer, etc.
-New "command wheel" for controlling NPC partners.
-There's a grenade machine gun
-You can get a golf club as a melee weapon
-The Hoover Dam is a visitable location.
-There's a new "Hardcore" mode, where ammo has weight, stimpacks heal gradually over time, and you need to drink water periodically to not die.
-On top of your karma, you have a local reputation which affects your standing with specific factions and towns.

First off: Anyone who says all anime is bad is probably closed-minded or ignorant and thinks it's all like DBZ, Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokemon, Naruto, Bleach, Sailor Moon and similar shows; which would be like a Japanese person watching Jersey Shore and American Idol and from that deciding that all live action television and movies from America are garbage.

Anyway:

Cowboy Bebop
Samurai Champloo
Black Lagoon
Death Note
Trigun
Ghost in the Shell

All good shows.

Actually the Saw movies are not perfectly fine because those movies have caused people to push for a new rating for it. Which I also support. "

I just used Saw because it's the most extreme example. Any work depicting murder and violence for the sake of entertainment would work just as well.

And on an unrelated note: Getting rid of hentai (loli or otherwise) would "destroy" the anime industry in the same way getting rid of porn would destroy the American film industry.

The problem is that you SHOULDN'T need a degree. I'm going for my Bachelor in Arts, but I'll freely admit that the diploma I get won't be worth the toilet paper I use. Oh it'll look nice on a resume, and help me to find a job, but I can't recall a single useful piece of information I've picked up in my 2 years of mostly law and psychology classes and I'm very close to dropping out at this point.

What would I do if I dropped out? No idea. But I think life should be an adventure, and it's no adventure if you know where you're going and if there's no risk of death.

It's more or less impossible to play through GTA IV without being a mass murderer. I don't see how being a serial rapist is that much worse than that. I've never played an H-game, but I just don't see how it's that much more terrible than something like Manhunt or Grand Theft Auto. I'm pretty sure it's just cultural differences.

Anyways, Galactic Warrior Rats:
