Foreign Policy during this election cycle is rather pointless I think. It's all about the economy. That's sorta why I feel this debate was rather pointless.

I feel like whoever gets elected this year will lead to the other party will winning in 4 years anyway, and it won't be close either. I don't see the economy getting stronger. I don't see international affairs getting better. People in this country are fucking sick of negativity, and, to be honest, are looking for a President to guide us out of that negativity. But I don't think either of these chucklefucks know what they're doing. Nor do I think they care.

A Foreign Policy debate isn't really that important this election season. So...it didn't change my mind.

Hamburgers are the worst to make. This game is great!

Nah, I'd say the ones where you need to see what's on Page 2 are the hardest ones.

I'll buy it when I can. In the meantime, I've shown my intereest on Steam Greenlight. I hope others do the same.

Keep in mind that there is a demo for it as well.

@KingBroly: Well, true, most of it did, but some hefty federal loans were handed out under Obama to banks, weren't they? To Google!

I think you're mixing the bank bailout with the auto bailout. In any case, Obama doesn't tout the bank bailout as his doing, only the auto bailout.

Xenoblade Chronicles

The best JRPG this generation. It takes a lot of what Final Fantasy XII did wrong, fixes it, and refines the good parts to make them even better. Sure, the game doesn't have the full production budget of a Final Fantasy, but the game is probably one of the best JRPG's of all time, yet it goes largely ignored when it shouldn't.

  • Journey (PSN)
  • Xenoblade Chronicles (Wii)
  • Kid Icarus: Uprising (3DS)

These are really the only standouts I can think of.

I wrote about this a couple of years ago, so I think I have a good grasp on this:

  • God of War - You know how everything ended with 3, and then they decided to release two more prequels? The series at this point is really spinning its' wheels, not going anywhere and has nothing to do or prove. Multiplayer isn't a wanted or necessary feature to bring in more people to the franchise, and ultimately the story of God of War is done. Until they can do something new, there doesn't need to be another God of War.
  • Metroid - After Metroid Prime 3, there didn't need to be another game. And then a guy from Nintendo in Japan said 'hey, I don't like this franchise anymore. Fuck this.' and then proceeded to shit all over it without a care in the world, calling it the best game in the series (Not even close). I don't want another Metroid game until someone besides this dumbass has an idea for the series. Why? Because he fucked it up, it can't be fixed, and I refuse to play another Metroid game with him attached to it. I know I'm not alone on this either.
  • Silent Hill - After many tries by many developers, including an AWFUL HD Collection, I think Konami needs to let this series go. They have no idea what to do with it, nor does it seem like they care. Without that, Silent Hill is dead, and everyone knows it.
  • Fable - Besides Fable 2, which Fable game has been worth any merit? Spinoffs, Mini-Games, Kinect titles. Fable has sort of become a joke because quality control doesn't seem to exist for the brand anymore, if it ever did. I stopped caring about Albion long before Microsoft decided to run it into the ground with Fable 3, Fable Heroes and Fable the Journey.

There aren't many franchises that need a break to get new ideas at this point. COD hasn't seen a major dip in quality yet. Mario continues to be awesome. Halo...well, we'll see how Halo 4 turns out first. Metal Gear too. Ground Zeroes might be bringing something new to the table. If not, it goes here too.
