Bare bones Team deathmatch and Hardcore FFA sound great. I like Hardcore team deathmatch but sometimes you just wanna go all out FFA so this is excellent!
I think this update will do a better job of organising the various features of the system better than the current blade system does. I reckon the developers are thinking ahead with this update so it'll probably allow for even more long awaited features or even some completely new ones we haven't thought of. Either way whatever makes it easier for them to keep improving the console I'm all for.
I'm glad he came out and said "We've taken what we liked about the Miis and taken it a bit further". I mean everyone knew that's what Microsoft was gunning for it's just good of them to come out and be honest about it. This new UI looks to be pretty good. I like how specific marketplace downloads are now associated with the game they're for. Should make looking for map packs or updates a lot easier. I like the new guide and the party system which should make organising game nights with your friends a whole lot easier.
I could care less about (vehicles? go play battlefield). IW FTW!
You COULDN'T care less about. What you said makes no sense. I think people are jumping the gun here (mainly Infinity Ward fanboys). This game has been in development for around 2 years, which is 3 times the amount of time they spent on CoD3. Not only that but they have "game of the year" material to build upon: a great engine and gameplay mechanics. I'm definitely going to give this a go. Sure they've made some disappointing games in the past but that doesn't mean they can't learn from that and produce a great Call of Duty game.
Well it is difficult to develop a game for PC and to keep the same level of quality the developers intended due to the sheer number of different setups. With consoles the developers can get the game to play and look exactly how they want by taking advantage of the consoles features and working around any limitations. They can do that because everyone who has an Xbox 360, for example, has the same basic hardware. With PCs they can't be sure what CPU you'll have or what graphics card and so they can't gurantee that PC users will be playing the game as they intended which, of course, they don't want.
I use Martyrdom on my "Desert Assault" class. It's pretty funny to get a kill after you respawned as you can just imagine the face on the person you got ^.^ People who believe it is a "noob" way of getting points/experience/kills whatever are clearly those who just get pissed off that they can't react fast enough to get away from it or in some cases couldn't get away as they were stuck in a corner or something (In which case bad luck but don't go on about it, it's not really much different from getting stuck in a corner whilst in a shootout with an enemy). The developers put the perk in the game so I'm gonna use it and if you don't like getting caught out by it you should be more careful. You are in battlefield after all!
Well I don't own a PS3 so I can't compare but I didn't notice any shadowing on the apprentices face in the 360 version. I doubt this is an early build of the game. It was probably taken from a build some time in the last month or so seeing as how the game is going to be released in not too long.
I thought the AT-ST seemed a bit random and out of place in the level. Another thing I;ve realised I don't like is the Darth Vader voice. Other likenesses used in other Star Wars game sound like Vader but this just sounds like a guy trying to do Vader's voice. It doesn;t sound right most of the time.
Love the airborne charged force push... force death from above MUHAHAHA! And the force lightning sabre combo is awesome.
