Dan saying Witcher 3 wasn't great and that he's having more fun with Cyberpunk had me nodding in agreement.

They both have structural problems, and Cyberpunk is busted as fuck on consoles, but I like the story more and I also like V more than Geralt.

It was nice to hear them talk about this stuff. Most Forgotten was pretty hilarious, even as I was on Dan's side of not being able to forget something you never heard of in the first place. Mike got so mad and then Dan even forgot all about the argument basically immediately.

I built the seer's hut at my settlement. And uh... I was not expecting the direction it went after that.

I took the daily quests for opal. One was to track down a thief and kill them.

The marker led to Ravensthorpe and I was concerned that this foul villain had infiltrated my home. Even more concerning was that he had been there the entire time and I never noticed.

The most fun boss fight in the series is Slave Knight Gael, narrowing defeating Knight Artorias by virtue of being a better version of Artorias.

But I can't argue with a list that mostly uses lore as justification. I've never played Demon's Souls but still i'll sometimes bring up Lady Astraea's music.

As someone who played all 5.5 hours of Transistor and hated almost everything about it, yes you will probably enjoy Hades.

There is, however, the continual revelation of spyware-level "bugs" that keep being discovered. First it was the anti-cheat service that continued to run after the game was shut down. They patched that so it only is installed while the game is running. Then it looks like the game takes a look at the contents of your clipboard when it starts up.

I was going to give the game another chance but I really don't think I want to even bother now. Maybe if it was a real game and not an excuse to print money via gacha mechanics.
