I could not recruit Thane before Jack, because my PC game was an Xbox port, and the Xbox version had to be spread on to 2 disks.

Multi-disk games hinder the potential freedom of open world games. I don't think anyone is too lazy to swap the disc, that's not the point.

Let me save everyone some time here. There are no benefits for the consumer of an always-online console.

It's there to combat piracy and hacking.

Nintendo lives in an ivory tower of some sort. They go their own ways, and in the past this has given us the D-pad, the analog stick, the rumble feature and the Wii. Now it seems all we get are games with MIDI music and textboxes instead of voice-over and actual cinematic game design. They also seem to think the way we play multiplayer today, is how we played it in the nineties, by bringing 3 guys over to your house and sitting on the couch together.

I would love for them to stop making hardware and start making PC games.

Just want to chime in and say pirating games is not stealing and it doesn't make you a thief.

I'm not saying you should pirate games, and I do nag my friend who does it, but in a legal sense it's not stealing - it's copyright infringement.

If you want to argue it's just as bad as stealing, that's fine. But when your friend says it's not stealing, he's right.

In 2011, Mass Effect 2 took my number one spot after Final Fantasy VI had owned it since 1994.

It doesn't make sense, it's a game mechanic thing, the first poster is right.

I remember in the weeks leading up to Wrath of the Lich King where the infested grain was shipped to the capitals, if you got infected and turned undead, you could speak to all infected people, regardless of faction. I thought that was a little neat feature.

I would want to go back and see some dinosaurs.

Or back 2000 years or so, and ask that Jesus fella a few questions.

@UssjTrunks: Scary Man? How in the world is Scary Man in any way offensive? This is getting ridiculous.

I'm not familiar with the Guild Wars naming policy, but maybe it's not just offensive names that are forbidden. I read the naming policy when I made my first character in WoW back when it launched, and it stated that names that referenced movies or other franchises were forbidden. "Metroid" and "Chewbacca" got banned.
